Our congressman, F. James Sensenbrenner sits on the House Judiciary Committee. It is vital that this committee undertake the oversight we urgently need. Read about it below and contact Sensenbrenner, urging him to support investigations of Russian meddling in our politics and government.
We need to put pressure on him before the committee meets next Tuesday, Feb. 28!
On Tuesday Feb. 28, at 10 a.m. the House Judiciary Committee will hear testimony and vote on whether or not to take up the intelligence probe into the Russian hacking of the election and to create an independent committee to explore Russian/foreign influence over Trump or any individuals in the administration.
According to Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) who appeared on the MSNBC Chris Hayes Show tonight, he and other democrats have presented a “Resolution of inquiry” to the House to demand that the Justice Department turn over to Congress any information, documents regarding criminal activity, or counter intelligence investigation regarding the President or any other named individuals involving investment of the President or the Trump organization with any foreign government.
