Chris Larson: Support Evers for Superintendent of Public Instruction

[This message was sent via email by State Senator Chris Larson. We are reprinting it here in case you didn't receive that email.]

Fellow Public Education Advocates,

We've seen a lot of attacks on our public schools in recent years. From Scott Walker’s historic cuts to our K-12 schools to the continued bullying of teachers by Republicans nationally.

Incredibly the Republican attacks on our children’s education knows no bounds! Today, we found out that that two anti-public education candidates for State Superintendent were plotting to divide up our school system and take over democratically elected boards.

This shocking and unethical behavior is stark and, given the vast amounts of dark money special interests like to force into races, it is a very real threat. Public education advocates in Wisconsin are standing up to support Tony Evers, who has been a staunch ally to our children and has worked tirelessly to provide the highest quality public education in the midst six years of slashed budgets.

Will you stand with us and support State Superintendent Tony Evers by making a donation to his campaign?

One thing is clear: the fight for our children’s future continues and we need all the friends of public education we can get. Tony has rejected the ‘culture of corruption’ his opponents have embraced and he needs our help to ensure his victory this spring.

If you haven't already, please mark your calendars and make a plan to vote for Tony Evers for State Superintendent of Education on Feb 21 & April 4. Those are the primary and general election days.

Thanks you for all you do. Keep up the good fight!

In Solidarity,

Chris Larson
State Senator

P.S. Please share this with your friends so we have a critical mass of public education advocates voting on both election days.
