State Senator Chris Larson is circulating a petition asking the governor and legislators to impose a mask mandate mask that would “remain in effect until all relevant gating criteria have been met.” 

Larson hopes the petition will show the governor and the state legislature that there is broad public support for such a measure, which is based on CDC findings that masks are an important measure in the effort to "flatten the curve."

Larson notes that 30 states have passed such mandates.
