Oct. 25, Voces De La Frontera’s 'Migration Is Beautiful' Masquerade Gala

[From our Friends at Voces de la Frontera]

We cordially invite you, and your organization or business, to join us at our annual gala fundraiser on Friday, October 25, 2019, in Milwaukee. Voces De La Frontera’s Migration Is Beautiful Masquerade Gala

 Friday, October 25, 2019
 5 p.m. cocktails | 6:30 p.m. dinner and program
Harley Davidson Museum - Chrome Room - 400 W Canal St, Milwaukee, WI 53203

Our gala is our largest fundraiser of the year. This year's gala will raise critical funds to support our statewide mobilization of Latinx and multiracial youth vote for 2020, the census count, and the constant struggle to defend families facing escalated attacks from the Trump administration.

While we look towards the future, we'll also celebrate our past successes and grassroots leaders, and honor members of our movement who are no longer with us.

Our keynote speaker, Lieutenant Governor Mandela was elected on November 8, 2018, and is the first African-American to serve as a Lieutenant Governor in Wisconsin. He is also the second African-American to ever hold statewide office. He is a champion for civil and labor rights, whose roots are in community organizing. Lt. Governor Barnes and Governor Tony Evers stand with immigrant communities in the struggle to restore driver licenses and in-state tuition for Wisconsin immigrant families.

We are excited that Lt. Gov. Barnes is joining us this year, and we hope that you'll join us too.

A profound gracias for your generous support during this critical time.

In solidarity,

Christine Neumann-Ortiz, Executive Director.
