In 2018, we came within a hair's breadth of flipping a heavily gerrymandered seat in the 13th Assembly District, which includes portions of Wauwatosa, West Allis, Elm Grove, and Brookfield. This year we have a great candidate, Sara Rodriguez, who's going to finish the job and retire Rob Hutton.
Sara is a native of Brookfield, a former health care executive, and served as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer with the Center for Disease Control. (Couldn't we use some epidemic intelligence right now?)
Sara was motivated to run by the GOP-created election debacle this spring. She brings to her campaign health care expertise, a passion for education. and experience as executive and a business owner.
Her opponent, Rob Hutton, has failed to address the real concerns of his constituents, instead playing follow-the-leader behind another child of gerrymandering, Robin Vos. The election of 2018 showed he can be defeated, and with the electorate finally seeing through the GOP, Sara can get it done in 2020.

It's time to flip the 13th. Let's join Sara and get it done!
