The fourth annual Tosa Green Summit will be held October 26, 2013 from Noon to 4 pm at the Wauwatosa Civic Center, 7725 W. North Avenue. The event is a free informational open house to learn how you can make your community green and sustainable. This year, we are featuring several healthy lifestyle initiatives.
- At Noon in the Upper Civic Center, join Melanie Landgraf, owner of Tosa Yoga Center, for Tosa Green Yoga, a FREE 45-minute, slow flow yoga class for all levels. Please bring a yoga mat. (We will have some available, as well.) Space is limited, so please reserve your spot at http://www.tosayoga.com!
- From 1 to 3 p.m. in the Lower Civic Center, over 25 Exhibitors will provide awareness and education on topics ranging from home energy, conservation, water, gardening, transportation, and food.
- At 2 p.m. in the Upper Civic Center, we will also feature the documentary Bag It, which discusses the effects of plastic bags on us and on our environment.
- At 3 p.m., we will have a community forum on Sustainability: It's Not Easy being Green, led by 6th District Wauwatosa Alderman Jeff Roznowski
