Opposing AB 427 requiring the DPI to create a firearms training curriculum
At a time when funds for the fundamental responsibilities of public education are seriously inadequate. -
Opposing August 2017 Special Session AB 1 (the “Foxconn bill”)
We need some due diligence on this before we give a huge tax giveaway so Scott Walker and Paul Ryan can win political points - Urging support in the state budget for the transportation needs of our aging and disabilities communities.

Fair Housing Exhibit Opens July 6
“Crossing the Line,” a Wisconsin Historical Society exhibit commemorating the 50th anniversary of fair housing marches in Milwaukee, will be displayed this July at the Little Red Store, 7720 Harwood Ave., in Wauwatosa’s Village area, near the location of the Farmers Market.
The free exhibit, hosted by the Wauwatosa Historical Society, is open from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursdays, July 6, 13 and 20; 8 a.m.-noon Saturdays, July 8, 15 and 22; and 12:30-2 p.m. Sundays, July 9, 16 and 23.

The Friends of the Monarch Trail will be hosting a "Planting Party” to continue to restore the habitat for Monarch butterflies on the County Grounds.
Join us for a couple of hours on Sunday, June 25th from noon to 3 pm to help us plant another section with milkweeds and nectar plants. Bring friends, family, a trowel and gloves. This is a way to help the monarch population and a chance to spend time at the Monarch Trail which is being restored by a growing community of individuals invested in protecting and restoring this unique site.
Please park on Discovery Parkway as we will be meeting by the kiosk on the corner of Discovery Parkway and Eschweiler Drive. Please look for feather banners.
