Action Items for the Week of March 24

[From our Friends at Indivisible]

It’s normal to feel a bit disappointed after the two-year buildup that was Mueller’s investigation. We were all ready to see Trump and his cronies brought to justice. That didn’t happen with Mueller’s report. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t get to know the whole truth, and our asks remain the same:

  • Release the full report.
  • Continue investigations in Congress to hold Trump accountable.

What you can do this week:

  1. Tell your Members of Congress: demand that the full Mueller report be made public. Call your MoCs and demand they make Mueller’s findings public and continue investigations to hold Trump accountable. Find everything you need at
  2. If the full Mueller report is hidden from the public, we will consider it a red line and will mobilize again. RSVP for an event near you. And if there isn’t one near you, register your own event. We’ll keep you updated on next steps.
  3. Ask your MoC to sign on to the Jayapal-Torres-Chu letter calling to defund hate. Trump has already requested billions to pay for his wall, more ICE and CBP agents, and to cage more immigrant families in next year’s budget. Rep. Jayapal, Rep. Torres Small, and Rep. Chu are circulating a letter asking to request cuts to ICE and CBP. Read more about the letter here.
  4. Tell your Democratic Representative to OPPOSE the Republican Motion to Recommit (MTR) on the Yemen Resolution. This critical bill could come to the House floor as soon as next week, so make sure you’re all caught up on MTRs here and then call your member of Congress with our script here.
  5. Sign up for our April national call! Join us for our April national call to find out what’s coming up in the next few weeks and how you can get involved with Indivisible. RSVP here to make sure you don’t miss our next call.
