"Bank Lobbyist Act"

Last week, there were two major moments with S. 2155, otherwise known as the “Bank Lobbyist Act.”

On Monday, the Congressional Budget Office or “CBO,” (you might remember them as the independent budget scorekeepers from the Trumpcare fight!) analyzed S. 2155 and it was NOT pretty. The CBO determined that the bill was likely to increase the odds that government funding would go to bank bailouts.

*Note: Sensenbrenner Retirement Party -- Starting at 6:00 before the Wauwatosa town hall, Indivisible Tosa will be hosting a retirement party for the Sensenbrenner at the Wauwatosa Public Library. Please join us for cupcakes, balloons, and party hats. The festivity will help us build our spirits before the town hall.

At this time, Sensenbrenner is not planning on retiring, but as voters we have some say in that decision!.
