Meet Sara Rodriguez

In 2018, we came within a hair's breadth of flipping a heavily gerrymandered seat in the 13th Assembly District, which includes portions of Wauwatosa, West Allis, Elm Grove, and Brookfield. This year we have a great candidate, Sara Rodriguez, who's going to finish the job and retire Rob Hutton.

June 18, March for the Three

The Wauwatosa Police Department employs an officer who is responsible for the death of three persons. 

Alvin Cole. Jay Anderson, Jr. Antonio Gonzalez. All three were killed by Tosa police officer Joseph Mensah, who remains on the force. The Anderson family and their attorney (who is also representing the Cole family) will go to Tosa City Hall and the Wauwatosa Police Department on Thursday to submit their "intent to file a complaint" against the PD.

Wauwatosa Dems Community Action Teams

The Wauwatosa Dems are creating Community Action Teams to empower activists to directly reach out to their neighbors to:

  • Talk to voters to learn their concerns and issues
  • Inform voters about candidates and actions that can help move the ball on our political and policy goals 

Voter-to-voter contact is the most effective way that we can overcome gerrymandering and reverse the awful policies enacted by the GOP at the state and federal level.
